Notes:
This set was prepared for extraction from SHN to 44.1 kHz WAV files from raw SHN files that
came directly from the DAT onto which the master cassettes were recorded by the original show taper (Steve H. - CT).

History of these SHN Files:
48 kHz DAT received via Brian Klein who received it from Steve H. (master taper)

Sony D6 + Nak 300's -> Analog Master Tapes -> DAT (48kHz) -> Steve V. -> Sony PCM-M1 DAT Deck +
Oade Digi Coax Cable + DataLink IDL-100 Hi-Res Digital Coax Monster Cable -> Midiman Audiophile 2496 PC Soundcard
(SPDIF IN Clock-Sync) ->PCM WAV (48 kHz, 16 bit, stereo) -> mkw Audio Compression Tools 0.97 BETA 1 -> SHN -> CD-R

Milesian did the following:
mkw 0.97 BETA for SHN->48 kHz WAV->CoolEdit 2000 for minor clean-up (see below) and resampling to 44.1 kHz at highest
quality level (999) -> CDWave (for track splitting and saving tracks to individual files) -> mkw 0.97 BETA -> SHN ->CD-R

Steve V. listed the following defects:

Disc 1: light channel shifting in BTBS
Milesian's comment: Couldn't do much about that. Mixed right channel over left at one point to smooth sound without going
mono. Also found and fixed minor glitches during audience applause, probably caused by the taper bumping against the mics.

Part 2: cuts @ 33:50, 39:50 and 45:25
glitch @ 38:38

Closed these cuts, all occurring during audience applause.

Minor tweaks:
Disc 1:
Attenuated sudden entrance into "Streets." Evened fluctuating levels during first eight seconds

This set also includes a hiss sample from the very beginning of each tape for noise reduction, if desired.
This set has not been treated with any noise reduction or normalization
